Transitional Kindergarten

Mrs. Lynn Demonte was born and raised in San Pedro, California, with her three siblings. She is now residing in Huntington Beach with her husband, Joe, and two children, Ashley, 16, and Nico, 12, and her Jack Russell dog, named Chip.

In the past, she has had several years of teaching experience working with pre-school aged children, at Day Star Early Learning Center, in San Pedro. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, with an emphasis in Sociology, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, she worked for Long Beach Unified School District. She taught kindergarten and 4th grade for a few years, then also taught kindergarten for the Garden Grove Unified School District, and taught 4th-6th grade students in the areas of English Language Arts and Math. She has also served as a substitute teacher, working with students from pre-school to 6th grade.

This is her first year at OLR. She is very blessed to be a part of the OLR Community and is looking forward to an exciting year, meeting and getting to know everyone.
Her hobbies include spending time with her family, going on walks, and tending her succulent garden.
