I am very excited to announce that I will be traveling with a group of 12 Los Angeles area Catholic school principals for a study tour to Finland this March (March 9th – 16th).  This project has been in development since last spring, with the funding and support of the Archdiocese, and we are about a month out.  I am so excited to represent Our Lady of Refuge Catholic School as part of this professional development to learn about the educational system of Finland, which is considered one of the best in the world.

Please see the attached article, which is featured in the California section of today’s LA Times, to learn more about our trip and the impact we hope to have on our great Catholic school system. If you are interested, our group has started an Instagram and Twitter page (ADLA_in_Finland, @ADLA_in_Finland).  We will be sharing our experiences throughout our process and journey to Finland.

Ystävällisin Terveisin,

Mrs. Holmquist
